"You are too young".

"You are too young..." is the phrase that I heard all the time from my teachers, peers, friends and even my parents. I know that I took so many risks in the past two years from getting to college right after my high school graduation and also never gave myself a break from the whole process. My dad used to tell me that "life is a race but the winner is not the one who starts first." I recognize that most of the actions are very impulsive on my behalf. Primarily, I am currently working as an intern in the second- largest city in the United States with a horrible traffic and a hectic lifestyle.

I am a twenty-year-old with a bachelor degree who left a wonderful life in Florida to take a tiny possibility in Los Angeles. It was the hardest choice that I made so far because being mostly by myself in a huge city and also as a Latin girl at the beginning of her 20s. Many people told me that it is either a brave and bold decision or just an act of recklessness. I agree on both options because the tremendous amount of pressure that I got in myself is indescribable.

Age is just a number because I got more life experience comparing to people who are at my age or even older than me. There were a lot of identity crisis and anxiety attacks because it is not an easy outcome. I believe in my skills, I believe in what I can do, and I believe in myself. The entertainment industry is truly a batter-field and the best way that I can win it is by determination. The only that I can grow is by the change; it is the best way to grow professionally and personally. Deep inside, I am terrified of what the future will bring and try to be successful takes a lot of time and energy.

The message that I will give to all the readers; it is to use the fear as a reaction, not as a paralyzation. There will always be a light in the darkness, and you are not alone. Overall, it is a long path to walk on and a lot of things to learn because constantly keep a room for improvement. If you are someone who is struggling to be entertainment industry, be permanently hungry and passionate. You are creating a great success story, and hopefully, all the hard work will pay off.
